Some folks brought forward valid arguments why having smarts is more desirable than being sexy and I accept that. I wish we could all live in a world where there was a balance of sexy vs smarts for all of us but alas that is a utopian society that does not exist.
We find ourselves as Paul the Apostle states attempting to live life accordingly yet we are challenged by our flesh.
Romans 8:5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.
And although we all know what the above verses say we have a very hard time fighting against the forces of nature that might hold us back from evolving.
Nonetheless, the first part of evolution is seeing a clear path to a more yielding and abundant resource and starting towards that destination. During the process we will evolve and grow according to what we encounter along the path; and we will find ourselves in the midst of the change. Sometimes afraid, we want to go backwards, other times we press forward because of the strength discovered during our journey.
For the record – I always found MaryAnn more attractive than Ginger but I would concur with the populace that Ginger was more sexy than MaryAnn.
